Ola Aina Support Convener Gives Yewa North NATA Solar Streetlights

As part of efforts to further curb many nefarious acts during dark hours, a grassroot politician in Yewa North Local Government of Ogun State, Hon. Amb. Ola Aina has donated solar streetlights to the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) in the local government.

At the presentation of the solar lights today, Hon. Amb. Aina said the donation was part of his community development program tagged “Light Up Yewa”.

He revealed that the gesture was also aims to enhance security, boost economic viability, and improve the overall quality of life in the community area.


His words “A well-lit environment will bring a radical upswing in our nightlife, increase our social and economic viabilities, and help secure our environment by exposing those who terrorize our people under the cover of darkness.”

While receiving the donation, one of the NATA representatives, Yewa North Chapter, Mr Taofeek Dada, expressed his gratitude to Hon. Aina for the donation.

He said “We are deeply thankful to Hon. Amb. Ola Aina for this kind gesture, saying that the solar streetlights will greatly improve the security and visibility of their workshop areas, allowing their members to work safely and efficiently even at night.


Mr Dada therefore assured that the association will ensure the proper maintenance and utilization of the solar streetlights, also promised to continue supporting Hon. Aina’s community development initiatives.
