Alumni, NANS Laud President Tinubu Over TASUED Conversation To Federal Varsity

The National President of the Alumni Association, Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Mr Bolaji Oladeji has described as very cheering the decision of the federal government to take over TASUED as a federal institution.

The Alumni in a statement on Monday said that this federal government’s decision as approved by President Bola Tinubu would no doubt open another window of rapid development for the university.

Oladeji said, “The alumni as key stakeholders that have demonstrated continued capacity and policy drive to advance the cause of the university’s development over the years, welcome this new development with higher expectations which are development driven.

“Members of the university community including staff and the teeming students are undoubtedly grateful to President Bola Tinubu for this historic kind gesture.

“We are however excitedly looking forward to an improved funding for our dear university to positively impact on the infrastructure, staff welfare, research funding and an attraction of global recognition as a university of repute, class and distinction in teachers education.”

Similarly, the Vice President of the National Association of Nigerian Students on Inter-Campus Affairs, Akinbodunse Praise equally commended the Federal Government for adopting the first-ever university of education in the country.

Akinbodunse in a statement said this kind gesture by the Federal government has indicated that the present administration led by President Tinubu, meant well for the overall development of the education sector in the country.
