Odogbolu Communities Rejoice As DSS Foundation Completes Second Phase Free Medical Outreach

The Dr. Seun Sokan (DSS) Foundation has completed the second phase of its Free Eye Care Project in Odogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The medical outreach enable over forty (40) individuals to undergo essential eye surgeries.

Nationalreports gathered that the foundation, recently made a visit to one of the hospitals where beneficiaries received their surgeries, this dedication was said to restored sight and instilling hope within communities, particularly in Odogbolu Local Government Area and its environs.


Our correspondent reports that this project offers a wide range of services, from free eye screenings and distribution of glasses and medication to cataract diagnosis and surgeries.


While speaking to journalists, the founder, Dr. Sokan said that the Foundation is committed to continue impacting lives through its various programs.

He noted that this second phase of the eye project specifically targeted communities within Odogbolu Local Government.

“The Foundation will not relent in its effort to continue to positively affect the lives of the masses, especially the people of Odogbolu,” Dr. Sokan affirmed.

The communities benefited included Idowa, Mobakufon, and Ogbo where they received free glasses, drugs, and cataract surgeries between July 17th to 19th.

One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Shittu Idowu, expressed gratitude for the restored vision, unable to hide his joy as he praised the DSS Foundation for its life-changing intervention.
