Gabriel Martinelli scored a stoppage-time equalizer to earn Arsenal a 1-1 draw against Manchester City in their Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Phil Foden had given City the lead in the 65th minute after a well-worked move, and the visitors looked set to claim all three points. However, Arsenal pressed late on and were rewarded when Martinelli fired home in the 90th minute following a goalmouth scramble.
The result leaves both sides trailing league leaders Liverpool, with Arsenal showing resilience to fight back while City were left to rue their inability to close out the game.
