Amb. Oladayo Aina Pays Tribute To Late Grandmother, Chief (Mrs) Victoria Oladokun With Grand Final Burial

It was a day of celebration, thanksgiving, and fond remembrance on Saturday, as family members, friends, and associates gathered for the final burial ceremony of the late Chief (Mrs) Victoria Aduke Oladokun (née Olatunji), grandmother of Hon. Ambassador Oladayo Aina.

The event, held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Idofoi, Ayetoro, Yewa North, Ogun State, witnessed an impressive turnout of dignitaries from across the State and beyond, all united to honour the life and legacy of the departed matriarch.

During the thanksgiving service, officiating ministers extolled the virtues of the late Chief (Mrs) Oladokun, describing her as a woman of deep faith, humility, generosity, and discipline whose godly lifestyle impacted many lives positively.

In his remarks, Hon. Amb. Oladayo Aina expressed gratitude to all who stood by his family throughout the period, noting that his grandmother lived a fulfilled and inspiring life.

According to him “She was a virtuous, prayerful, and loving woman whose legacy of integrity, service, and faith will forever remain in our hearts.


After the church service, guests moved to Fajuyi Hall, Comprehensive High School, Ayetoro, where the atmosphere was filled with music, dance, and celebration. The venue, beautifully decorated, hosted well-wishers who enjoyed delicious meals, music, and warm fellowship in honour of the late matriarch.

Dignitaries in attendance included Chief Sunday Agbooba, Chief Adeosun Gabriel (Gabadin, APC Party Chairman, Yewa North), Mrs. Tanimowo, Ward Executives, Ola Movement Coordinators, Student Leaders, Mr. Seyi Coker, Mr. Ayankunle Ayanleke, Mr. Oladipe, Mr. Goke Babalola, Alhaji Fatai Adekunbi, Comrade Tunde Kazeem Lawal, Chief Ajibode Toyin, Alhaji Biliamin Olatunji, Mr. Ayeni, and Chief (Mrs.) Sobukola, among others.
