As the Muslim faithful in Ogun Central District and across the world mark this year’s blessed Eid Mubarak celebration, the Ogun State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Adebola Sofela, FCA, has extended his warmest wishes to all. He prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) accept their sacrifices, grant them peace, abundant blessings, and continued prosperity.
“May this Eid bring joy to every home, strengthen our faith, and unite us as one people under God,” he said.
The atmosphere was filled with joy, faith, and shared blessings, as families returned home not only with support, but with hearts uplifted by this meaningful act of leadership and compassion.
The celebration took a heartwarming turn as SHOFI, as he is fondly called, once again demonstrated his tradition of reaching out to the Muslim faithful with a gesture of goodwill. In the spirit of Eid al-Adha, Mr. Sofela distributed bags of rice and cash gifts to numerous people across Ogun Central. This act of generosity—consistent with his tradition during major festive seasons—was deeply appreciated by the community, especially at a time when many families were preparing to observe the sacred rituals of sacrifice, prayer, and unity.
While addressing the beneficiaries, Mr. Sofela expressed profound joy in sharing the blessings of Eid with the people. He emphasized the importance of solidarity, kindness, and mutual support—values that the Eid celebration strongly embodies. His contributions, he noted, are a token of his commitment to the welfare of the people and a reflection of the inclusive vision of the Ogun State Government, led by His Excellency, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON.
The Commissioner urged everyone to continue promoting peace, understanding, and love within their communities—especially during this sacred season of spiritual reflection and gratitude.
